This is a critical coordination role supporting the standup of a state-of-the-art pharmacy operation that will include Dispense, Fulfillment, PIT, Non-Sterile Compounding, Sterile Compounding, Automation, and Facilities departments.As the Program Manager, you won't be creating training content—you'll be the strategic orchestrator who ensures everything happens seamlessly between SOP publication and training execution. You'll coordinate 20+ subject matter experts, manage complex timelines, prioritize content development workflows, and ensure quality across all learning programs before handoff to the site learning team.Contract Duration: 6 months (April - September 2026), with potential extension based on project needsLocation: Gilbert/Mesa, Arizona area - Hybrid/flexible with up to 3 days per week onsite as neededWhat You'll DoStrategic Coordination & Workflow ManagementOrchestrate the end-to-end workflow from SOP publication through training readiness, managing all activities between content creation and executionDevelop and maintain comprehensive project timelines across multiple learning workstreams and departmentsPrioritize and sequence work for content designers and contractors, providing clear direction and information needed for developmentCreate and implement quality assurance processes to ensure training materials meet standards before site deploymentStakeholder & SME ManagementCoordinate with 20+ subject matter experts across Dispense, Fulfillment, PIT, Non-Sterile Compounding, Sterile Compounding, Automation, and FacilitiesFacilitate alignment meetings and communication between SMEs, content designers, and learning teamsManage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication channels across all levelsBuild strong partnerships with vendors and contractors supporting content developmentLearning Program OversightGuide development of visual training guides, competency assessments, and knowledge check quizzes based on SOPsDetermine enrollment strategies and identify which groups require training for each programEnsure facilities and operations training aligns with launch requirements and regulatory standardsPrepare comprehensive handoff documentation for the site learning manager and teamProject Management & ReportingMaintain project tracking systems and dashboards using Asana, Smartsheets, and Google platformsIdentify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies proactivelyProvide regular status updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and resource needsEnsure all deliverables meet quality standards and launch deadlinesWhat You'll BringRequired Qualifications5+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in learning & development, operations launch, or organizational changeProven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with competing prioritiesStrong coordination skills with demonstrated ability to influence without direct authorityExperience managing 15+ stakeholders simultaneously across different functional areasExceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and qualityProficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Asana, Smartsheets, Google Workspace)Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical information for diverse audiencesPreferred QualificationsPharmacy operations or healthcare experienceBackground in training program development or instructional design coordinationFamiliarity pharmaceutical regulatory requirementsExperience with new facility launches or large-scale operational implementationsPMP, CAPM, or similar project management certificationWhat Success Looks LikeAll learning workstreams launched on time and meet quality standardsSeamless coordination among 20+ SMEs with minimal escalationsClear, organized handoff to site learning team with comprehensive documentationTraining materials aligned with SOPs and ready for executionStakeholders consistently informed and aligned on progress and timelinesWork EnvironmentThis hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with onsite teams.
