Position Overview
SALARY IS DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Architect to support the development and coordination of architectural projects. This position plays a key role assisting with specifications, guiding code studies, and directing construction drawings and details. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, advanced understanding of building codes and compliance, and solid knowledge of construction methods. Government project experience is required, as many of our projects involve federal, state, or municipal clients. This role collaborates closely with engineering and design teams and requires a confident, knowledgeable architect who can lead others while maintaining high technical standards. This is a remote position with occasional site visits (company‑covered travel).
Key Responsibilities
Review, develop, and oversee architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure all project documents comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Produce and coordinate drawings, models, renderings, and technical documentation.
Direct the development of construction drawings and architectural details to ensure accuracy and constructability.
Conduct and support code studies, including research and interpretation of local, state, and federal codes.
Assist with writing project specifications and coordinating with engineering disciplines.
Mentor junior architects and guide internal design reviews and workflow.
Provide clear communication and support for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in internal quality control and construction‑phase review processes.
Conduct occasional site visits as needed to verify field conditions and construction progress.
Qualifications
Experience:
Prefer 5+ years of professional architectural experience across diverse project types. Residential, Commercial, Government
Colder climate experience highly preferred
Licensing:
MUST BE LICENSED IN ALAKSA
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Skills:
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Strong technical knowledge of codes, compliance, and construction methods
Ability to produce and direct construction drawings and details
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
Ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative work environment
Eligibility Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the U.S.
Preference for candidates located in the western U.S. due to virtual meeting schedules. Schedule Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM AST
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
