Volunteer: Strategic Analysis of Hybrid Nonprofit/For-Profit Corporate Structure

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.A high-level comparative analysis of hybrid structures combining a 501(c)(3) with a for-profit entity, outlining pros/cons, governance and operational trade-offs (not legal advice), and clear recommended next steps for leadership. Specifics will be discussed during volunteer interviews.Clarifying a hybrid structure will enable responsible commercialization and management of products and technologies, helping generate sustainable support and clearer governance so the organization can better reduce violence and promote emotional growth, physical activity, economic opportunity, and roots culture.Specifics will be provided and discussed during volunteer interviews.
