hackajob is collaborating with Vanguard to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.The SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the technical foundation of the SSPM capability. This role focuses on developing custom SaaS integrations, ensuring SSPM platform availability and data quality, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support engineering, automation, and data ingestion needs. The SSPM Developer enables scale and reliability of the SSPM program by extending platform capabilities and ensuring continuous, accurate SaaS security visibility.Key ResponsibilitiesSSPM Platform Engineering & ReliabilityDevelop, maintain, and enhance custom SSPM integrations with SaaS platforms and internal systemsEnsure availability, performance, and reliability of the SSPM platform and supporting servicesMonitor data ingestion pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timelinessCustom SaaS Integrations & AutomationDesign and build custom API integrations for SaaS applications not natively supported by the SSPM platformDevelop automation to support onboarding, configuration monitoring, and data normalizationWork with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot integration and data ingestion issuesStakeholder Partnership & Engineering SupportPartner with SSPM analysts, IAM, SOC, Data Engineering, and application teams to understand engineering and data requirementsSupport security posture use cases such as identity analysis, integration visibility, and configuration monitoringOperational Support & Continuous ImprovementSupport SSPM upgrades, enhancements, and platform changesIdentify opportunities to improve scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiencyRequired QualificationsExperience in software engineering, security engineering, or platform engineering rolesStrong experience with APIs, SaaS integrations, and data ingestion pipelinesProficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)Experience working with cloud-based platforms and modern authentication mechanismsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting SaaS Security Posture Management, CSPM, or security analytics platformsFamiliarity with OAuth, SAML, service accounts, and non-human identity accessExperience working with SIEMs, data lakes, or security telemetry pipelinesFamiliarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSFSpecial FactorsSponsorshipVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.About VanguardAt Vanguard, we don't just have a mission—we're on a mission.To work for the long-term financial wellbeing of our clients.
