Our client, a national engineering and general contracting firm serving the residential development, commercial, and warehousing/logistics construction sectors, is seeking a qualified Civil / Land Development Engineer to join its growing team. The firm offers a collaborative, team-focused work environment and opportunities to contribute to diverse development projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and manage civil land development projectsCoordinate with local jurisdictions and regulatory agenciesPrepare and implement civil design plans using Civil 3DPerform site planning and layoutDesign erosion control measuresDesign storm drainage and sanitary sewer systemsDevelop grading concepts and layoutsAssist with technical design tasks across multiple project phasesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standardsRole involves producing conceptual and comprehensive civil design plans using Civil 3D, supporting land development projects from planning through implementation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringFE or PE licenseMinimum 2 years of civil engineering experienceWillingness to relocate to Mobile, ALA strong foundational engineering knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under the guidance of senior team members while meeting project deadlines.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience in land development and site planningWorking knowledge of:Erosion controlStorm drainage systemsSanitary sewer systemsGrading layoutsStrong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately and on scheduleIntermediate verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively within a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of construction management principles and project workflowsAbility to present technical information clearly and effectivelyCompensation & BenefitsSalary: Competitive pay (Based on the experience)401(k)Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offFlexible scheduleWork Environment:Onsite role in a professional office settingCollaboration with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
