Talent Acquisition Senior SpecialistFull-time, in person Human Resources Director of Human Resources Poway HQ Job Description: Responsible for assigned hiring priorities to include sourcing, attracting, and hiring of high-performing talent in alignment with the company's values. Partners with hiring managers and stakeholders in the process of developing requisitions and evaluating candidates. Use knowledge about California hiring requirements and follows them for fully compliant hiring; follows company protocols in sourcing and hiring. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to the following: Strategic sourcing proactively identifies and engages both active and passive candidates using digital recruitment marketing strategies across platforms such as job boards, LinkedIn, Instagram and X and other relevant social media platforms to attract top-tier talent and build employer brand awareness. Full-Cycle Recruitment - Manages the end-to-end hiring process from defining requirements to onboarding. Hiring Manager Partnership Collaborates with department leaders to define job requirements, interview questions, and selection criteria. Develops broad understanding of the industry, the roles and responsibilities of the employees, and the skill sets required for high-performance. Designs and executes recruitment strategies accordingly. Candidate Experience - Ensures positive, professional experience for all applicants to strengthen the company's reputation and employer brand. Data-Driven Decisions Tracks key metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire; and uses metrics analysis to provide recommendations for continuous improvement of recruitment strategies and cost effectiveness. Networking and Branding Represents the company at job fairs, industry events, on social platforms and through networking with local workforce development programs to build a strong talent pool. Administers pre-employment physical and testing, background screening, driver eligibility (if applicable to the job) Compliance Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of California labor laws, particularly as they relate to fair and compliant sourcing and hiring practices. Experience and AbilitiesExperience: 5+ years in recruiting role Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred. Certifications: either a PHRca or a SHRMCP/SHRMSCP WITH the California law HR Specialty Credential preferred Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (eg. ADP ATS or others), and with gathering data, analyzing findings, and applying logic and reason. Communication: Expert verbal and written communications skills are vital for engaging candidates and stakeholders Negotiation: Proven experience to negotiate job offers and close candidates. Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate future hiring needs and align them with company growth.
