Surgical Tech Location: Austell, GA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Minimum Requirements: Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent national credential (CST required). BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent upon hire. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting with demonstrated ability to work moderate to high acuity surgical cases. Experience with room setup, sterile technique, instrument and equipment preparation, surgical counts, and case cart preparation. Ability to assist as a surgical team member and provide intraoperative instrument handling and support to surgeons and circulating staff. Demonstrated competency in terminal cleaning, instrument care, and coordination with SPD/central sterile processes. Ability to participate in call or late coverage as required by facility staffing needs. Required education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, certificate or associate degree. Client-specific requirement: Competency in moderate to high acuity general surgery cases and ability to mentor, precept, or train new staff and students.
