HR Administrative Assistant
SUMMARY
The HR Administrative Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the People Operations Department. After two weeks of training in the office, the role will transition to a hybrid role, working in office 2 days a week.
Essential Functions:
Assist in daily HR activities and operations, including payroll administration and data entry such as raises and promotions.
Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, and benefits through email, slack and other communication mediums as needed.
Provides support with worker’s compensation including following up to collect details on open cases with employees and managers.
Manages data entry for new employees and assists with keeping the HRIS system up to date by making updates in employee profiles, conducting terminations, and other admin related to the system.
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the day to day administrative functions in other dedicated departments.
Requirements:
At least one year of experience working in an office environment providing administrative support.
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in a customer-centric environment, preferably in a high-volume setting.
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Office applications.
Works well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Must be able to commute to Durham, NC on in-office days or relocate.
