Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Position OverviewThe Maintenance Planner/Scheduler supports the planning and coordination of daily maintenance tasks, project work, and periodic plant outages. This role focuses on preparing work plans, estimating labor and material needs, organizing schedules, and maintaining accurate documentation within the plant's CMMS. The position works closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational goals. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains accurate records of all maintenance activities within the CMMS.Assists with monitoring and maintaining storeroom inventory levels.Creates preventive and predictive maintenance routines.Supports the development and tracking of maintenance KPIs.Participates in safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Helps develop detailed repair plans through field inspections, standard procedures, and collaboration with maintenance personnel.Specifies and procures required materials for maintenance work by coordinating with purchasing and suppliers.Maintains a backlog of planned work to support scheduling flexibility.Leads planning, coordination, and procurement activities for special projects, major repairs, and plant outages.Works with maintenance, operations, and technical teams to support equipment reliability goals.Assists in developing maintenance procedures based on regulatory guidelines, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices.Supports mechanical integrity and compliance activities related to piping, pressure vessels, and other regulated equipment.Develops expertise in CMMS modules including equipment, work orders, planning, preventive tasks, inventory, and purchasing.QualificationsExperience in chemical manufacturing or related industrial environments is preferred.Several years of maintenance experience in process industries; background in gas or chemical processing is an advantage.Experience in planning or scheduling daily maintenance and turnaround activities is preferred.Ability to develop detailed repair plans for rotating equipment, piping systems, and electrical systems is a plus.Ability to identify hazards and follow safe work practices.Able to work with required PPE including fall protection, respirators, and chemical protective gear.Benefits:Excellent compensation (Salary $90,000 - $110,000)Comprehensive Benefits Plan (Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, 401(k)Generous PTO PlanPaid HolidaysAnd much more
