The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a stepdown or intermediate care unit environment. Monitor and interpret cardiac and other vital signs to identify and respond to clinical changes. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Precept and mentor junior staff as necessary to ensure continuity of care.QualificationsCurrent RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting, preferably with stepdown and CV experience. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and with large hospital settings required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required. Experienced with team nursing ratios and able to work 1:6 ratios.
