Through collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail, we help clients bring their vision to life.Role DescriptionBlooming Landscape Architecture + Pools is seeking an experienced Landscape Designer to join our Mesa-based team.We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working directly with clients and thrives at the intersection of design, sales, and project development.The successful candidate will meet with homeowners, develop landscape and pool concepts, prepare plans and proposals, present design solutions, and collaborate with our design and construction teams to guide projects from concept through contract.Great design at Blooming is about more than aesthetics. It requires listening, communication, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with clients.ResponsibilitiesMeet with homeowners to understand project goals, priorities, and vision.Develop creative and functional landscape and pool designs.Prepare conceptual plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and presentation materials.Create project proposals and budgets.Present designs and recommendations to clients.Guide clients through the design and sales process from concept through contract.Collaborate with designers, estimators, and construction personnel.Coordinate with builders, architects, engineers, and consultants as needed.Maintain Blooming's commitment to exceptional design and customer service.QualificationsPreferred Experience3+ years of residential landscape design, pool design, landscape construction, or design-build industry experience.Experience working directly with homeowners and guiding clients through the design process.Ability to develop creative, functional, and buildable outdoor environments.Experience presenting design concepts and preparing project proposals.Strong understanding of residential landscape construction methods and materials.Knowledge of plant material appropriate for the Phoenix and Scottsdale markets.Knowledge of plant material for Prescott, Sedona, and Flagstaff is a plus.Experience developing planting plans, hardscape layouts, outdoor living spaces, and pool environments.Technical SkillsAutoCAD preferredSketchUp preferredLumion or similar rendering software a plusMicrosoft Office SuiteEducationBachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field preferred but not required.Relevant industry experience, proven design ability, plant knowledge, and strong client communication skills are valued as highly as formal education.What We're Looking ForCreative and design-focusedDetail-oriented and highly organizedStrong communicator who enjoys working with clientsCollaborative, accountable, and team-orientedIf you're passionate about design, enjoy working with people, and want to create exceptional outdoor environments, we'd love to hear from you.
