Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations within a large, newly constructed high-rise commercial building. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who has grown from technician into supervision and is comfortable managing both people and complex building systems.You will play a critical role in ensuring all facility systems operate efficiently, safely, and without disruption in a high-performance, mission-critical environment.Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians (assign work, coach, and monitor performance)- Coordinate and prioritize work orders and daily maintenance activities- Oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life- Perform and oversee repairs across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems- Monitor and adjust systems such as chillers, pumps, boilers, and building automation systems (BMS)- Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and resolve issues- Ensure full compliance with OSHA and safety standards- Manage vendors and subcontractors for repairs and maintenance projects- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency responseQualifications:- 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred- Background in high-rise residential and/or commercial buildings- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, boilers, and mechanical systems- Hands-on technical ability (not just management)- Experience managing teams and coordinating maintenance operations- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices- Familiarity with CMMS systems and tools like Microsoft Office (Procore/Smartsheet a plus)- Strong troubleshooting, organization, and leadership skills- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or emergenciesPreferred:- Technical degree or apprenticeship completion- EPA Universal Certification- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field- Spanish language skillsIf you're open to hearing more about this opportunity, apply today!Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
