Quality Technician (2nd Shift)

Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined.Completion of certificates of analysis and other documentation.Monitoring quality communications, internally and externally.Monitoring floor activities, hands-on with production process.Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Education And Experience2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment - strongly preferred.Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing.SQF or other quality certification experience - a plusCandidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized.Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Teams, and Outlook.Experience with ERP system - a plus.Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
