Controller / CFOCompensation: $150,000 - $160,000A privately held manufacturing company in the plastics industry is seeking a hands-on Controller or CFO to lead accounting and financial operations. This role is well-suited for a strong manufacturing Controller ready to take on broader responsibility or an experienced CFO who enjoys being close to the business and operations.The OpportunityThis position offers high visibility with senior leadership and the Board, along with the chance to play a key role in financial stewardship, reporting, and operational partnership. The organization values practical decision-making, collaboration, and leaders who want to understand how the business runs day to day.Key Responsibilities for the Controller/CFO:Lead all accounting and financial operations for a multi-site manufacturing businessOwn month-end and year-end close processes, including inventory and cost accountingPrepare and present financial results for quarterly Board meetingsManage and develop a small accounting team covering AP, AR, payroll, and IT supportReview and approve payment runs, payroll, commissions, journal entries, and credit memosCoordinate with banking partners and external resourcesMaintain lease schedules, fixed assets, and supporting financial documentationPartner closely with operations and plant leadership to understand production and inventory activitySupport HR, IT, and administrative functions as part of the leadership team Ideal Candidate Profile for the Controller/CFO:Prior experience as a Controller or CFO within a manufacturing environmentStrong, hands-on accounting background (not purely strategic)Experience in organizations in the $15M-$30M revenue rangeBackground in inventory-intensive manufacturing environmentsProven people leadership and ability to develop a small teamComfortable working onsite and engaging with operationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredExperience in plastics, industrial manufacturing, or toll manufacturing is a plus#LI-DO2Click here to apply online
