Part Time Research Support Specialist -Short Term Hire

Required Qualifications (as Evidenced By An Attached Resume)Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience with research activities. Experience in operating equipment, carrying out test procedures, and using special methods for data collation and interpretation.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in computer sciences.Brief Description Of DutiesWithin defined test or analytical protocols, operate equipment, carry out test procedures, as well as collate and interpret data using special methods in support of a research project or program for Dr. Damaghi in the Department of Pathology. The successful incumbent will have excellent interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational and time-management skills with an exceptional attention to detail. Essential for this role is the adeptness to work independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving.Duties Collect data, record observations measurements and prepare reports for review of supervisor and or PI. Perform literature search; staying current in the field by reading and discussing the literature and experimental results with the supervisor and/or PI. Other duties or projects as assigned.
