Fantasy Dance School (FDS) is looking for energetic and skilled Contemporary Instructors to join our vibrant team. We are currently looking for teachers specifically in Contemporary, but are open to instructors with experience in additional styles. Why Join FDS? Competitive Pay: $25 - $40 per hour (DOE) Flexible Schedule: Part-time and full-time opportunities available Benefits for Full-Time Staff: Paid time off Health benefits Employee discounts for family members State-of-the-Art Facility: Teach in a 9,600-square-foot professional space Professional Growth: Work with a creative and supportive team, with opportunities for development Exciting Performances: Year-round recitals, competitions, and guest workshops Position Details Seeking Instructors for: Contemporary (open to additional styles such as Ballet, Creative Movement, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap with it) Commitment: Minimum of four classes per week (September - June) Availability: Monday–Saturday Training & Collaboration: Willingness to attend staff meetings, colleague discussions on best practices, and department meetings (all paid) Openness to co-teaching for successful onboarding Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging contemporary dance classes Create and implement choreography for performances and recitals Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes Collaborate with colleagues on program development and best practices Participate in recitals, competitions, and community performances What We’re Looking For Experience: One to three years of teaching experience in Contemporary (all levels welcome) Education: Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one Passion: A love for teaching and inspiring students of all ages Collaboration: Willingness to work with a team and contribute to our community Location Fantasy Dance School is located in Mountain View, CA, in a vibrant area near top-rated schools, parks, and local eateries.
