Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist - Onsite

A leading healthcare organization in Stamford, CT is seeking a Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist. This role requires expertise in managing employee leave programs, offering a supportive and compliant employee experience.About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: 3+ monthsSchedule: Monday to FridayHours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)Setting: Onsite 5 days a weekResponsibilities:Managing full lifecycle of leave cases, approximately 150 active leavesAdministering employee leave programs including FMLA, short and long-term disability, and moreServing as the primary contact for employees and managers during leave processesTracking leave balances and return-to-work timelinesEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and company policiesPerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:5+ years of experience in LOA ManagementHigh School Diploma / GEDDeep knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and compliance requirementsExperience with HRIS systems, like Oracle or ADPExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesired Qualifications:Associate's and/or Bachelor's DegreeCertification in LOA management
