We have been retained by a leading electrical contractor in the area to identify a Chief Electrical Estimator to lead their estimating department and drive strategy for major projects.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive executive-level base salary (DOE)Bonus potential tied to company performanceComprehensive health insurance package401(k) with company matchPaid vacation & PTOCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceDuties & Responsibilities:Oversee and lead the estimating department, managing all preconstruction and bid activitiesDevelop and implement estimating strategies for large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projectsReview complex project specifications, drawings, and scope to ensure accurate, competitive bidsProvide executive-level insight into project budgets, cost control, and bid presentation to leadershipMentor, train, and oversee the work of junior and senior estimators, ensuring departmental growth and consistencyEstablish and maintain key relationships with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to secure competitive pricing and repeat businessLead pre-bid meetings, site walks, and negotiations with ownership and executive teamsCollaborate with project management, engineering, and field operations to ensure seamless handoff and execution post-awardContinuously refine estimating processes, technology, and cost databases to improve accuracy and efficiencyReport directly to executive leadership with forecasting, risk analysis, and strategic recommendationsQualifications:10+ years of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractorProven track record of leadership in an estimating or preconstruction management roleExpertise in commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects (multi-million-dollar range)Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, Conest, or similar)Your resume will not be shared with any company without prior discussion and your approval.Take the next step in your career-apply today!Contact Ben Broers directly for more information:605-937-5246ben.broers@gogpac.com
