Dental Lab Technician 2nd Shift (4p-1a)Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. If you have an interest in any of the following areas, we provide great entry-level positions that grow into lifelong careers!CAD/CAM technology3-D printing technologyWorking with your handsCreative and detail orientated activitiesOperation of equipment such as hand pieces, casting machines, burnout ovens, etc.Mechanical abilitiesArts & Crafts, PaintingBenefits of being part of the Oral Arts Team:Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRetirement plan with company matchDisability benefitsLife InsurancePTO and Holiday payOpportunities for growth including paid continuing education, cross-training, and leadership roles.Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Build and/or repair dental appliancesConstruct prostheses by following the dentist's prescriptionCorrect dental irregularities by manufacturing fixed or removable appliancesFollow standard operating procedures (SOP's) and dental prescriptionsAdhere to lab processes, procedures, and industry standardsDemonstrate time-management, organization, and prioritization skillsEnsure timely manufacturing of casesCollaborate with other dental lab technicians and troubleshoot problemsRequired experience:1 year of experience in artistry, CAD/CAM, production, construction, food industry, or any other position requiring manual dexterity (hairdresser, mechanic, jeweler, sewer, carpenter, etc.)High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to read and writeMust be a willing worker with a great attitude!No prior dental experience necessary. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs regularly.
