SummaryAssist Engineering department in a variety of tasks to transfer drawings/print and/or other documents into digital format. Scan or copy current documents as needed. Convert drawings and document to CAD format and enter pertinent information into other electronic business systems. File documents as needed.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not have supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties & Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret drawings, prints and/or sketches to determine necessary information needed to convert to digital format.Convert drawings to electronic and digital format using CAD and or business engineering systems.Follow recommended standard procedures, revision identification and naming nomenclature for drawings.Responsible for filing original documents as required.May assist in other support activities in the Engineering Department of other functions.Any/all other duties as assigned.Skills & CompetenciesStrong mechanical or electrical aptitude (depending on discipline).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency with tools, measurement equipment, and diagnostic instruments.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.RequiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPursuing degree in relevant discipline (mechanical engineering, applications etc.)Proficient in AutoCAD LTDesiredA or B.S in Mechanical EngineeringPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
