Med Tech - CNA/HCA - Memory CareType: Full-timeShifts Available:Day (6am-2pm):Sunday - Thursday (Assisted Living)NOC/Nights (10pm-6:30am): Tuesday - Saturday (Memory Care)Wage: $20-$22/hr DOELocation: Avamere at Englewood Heights - 3710 Kern Road, Yakima, WA 98902Apply now at: Arete.JobsThe Medication Aide / Technician administers routine medications and documents administration per policy while supporting resident care and reporting concerns to nursing leadership.Candidates must hold an active CNA or HCA.Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service planAdminister medications ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the DHS and according to current policies, procedures, and practicesProvide care for residents and assist with updating service plans.Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistanceAssist with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, and eating)Provide support with residents to caregivers as neededDocument and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely mannerMaintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesQualifications:HCA or CNA license requiredMinimum of one-year of experience as a Med Aide/TechMust be at least 18 years oldHigh-School diploma or equivalentMust have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR CertificationMust obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employmentKnowledge and experience caring for and interacting with eldersBenefits:We believe caring for others starts with caring for our own teams.
