VMR Strategic Solutions is seeking a Malware Analyst III to support the Media Malware Analysis (MMA) efforts required for delivery of malware products as part of the effort to analyze and report on malware in support of and cyberspace operations. The candidate will possess senior-level experience as a Malware Analyst with a background in cutting-edge cyberspace technologies. The candidate will facilitate SSP development and certification and accreditation support for new malware analysis systems; support operations oversight and governance for malware throughout the DODIN.DutiesApplies knowledge on subjects relating to the conduct of Malware Analysis activities through governance and business practicesWorks under consultative direction toward predetermined Mission Assurance goals and objectives; assignments are often self-initiatedDevelops design specifications by inspection and analysis to offset various malware and to protect and defend USCYBERCOM infrastructureDevelops, researches, and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and encryptionConducts vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems; creates malware detection topologiesQualifications Required Education and Experience:10 years of experience as a Malware AnalystBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related disciplineDoD 8570 IAM-2 Certification, CSSP ManagerMust be able to meet customer facility COVID requirementsRequired ClearanceTop Secret clearance SCI w/ Polygraph
