NOW HIRING : Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Transportation & Infrastructure Account Manager to join our Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) team! The Transportation & Infrastructure Account Manager is responsible for a best-in-class customer experience and positive commercial interactions with the internal organization, facilitating engagement with Millerbernd in a relationship-based sales role. Responsible for day-to-day commercial interactions, pricing, purchase order validation and processing, and order development. Shares co-responsibility with the Regional Sales Managers for Millerbernd’s overall success in the assigned territories. Manages proper backlog levels and gross margins to attain Millerbernd’s financial goals.This is an onsite opportunity in Winsted, MN.Job Title: Transportation & Infrastructure Account Manager Location: Winsted, MN Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year (Exempt role)(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday Business Hours Shift Differential: 1st shift – N/AKey Roles and Responsibilities as a Transportation & Infrastructure Account Manager:Develop and maintain win-win relationships at all levels in assigned territoryQuotation generation using company pricing strategiesManage all commercial order acceptance and development activitiesDrive resolution to customer changes, concerns, and other inquiriesAs a Transportation & Infrastructure Account Manager, you will:Develop and maintain business with customers to enhance the potential for meeting the objectives of maximum profitability and growth through effective sales and service practicesSupport sustained sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers through all levels of the organizationGenerate pricing schedules and quotations to existing sales channels in alignment with profitability goalsConvert quotations to sales bookings and manage development of ordersProvide best-in-class customer service in a fast-paced environmentRespond timely to all customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual meetingsMaintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision makingManage backlog of work; monitoring volume, profitability, and diversityManage ECD communication, date migration, and other order details to customersParticipate in risk-reward decision making with RSM for pricing and margin aggressivenessKeep informed of industry changes, participates where possible in organizations directly involved with our prime markets, and continually works to improve team knowledgeExpedite the resolution of customer issues utilizing internal CARe and Change Order processesProvide the Voice of Customer through market feedback to the organizationSupport operations through Tier board meetings, design review meetings, and team meetingsUtilize CRM functionality and capabilities to maximize market intel captureTravel available up to 5% throughout USARole Qualifications as a Transportation & Infrastructure Account Manager:Preferred candidates will have two (2) or more years of experience with contractor or distribution sales, business to business sales or marketing, and/or business content development in a technical setting. Other combinations of formal training and experience may be considered. Confident, driven, and dynamic, producing high-quality resultsMotivated self-starter, derives energy from problem solving and winningBasic knowledge in interpreting technical specifications and/or mechanical drawingsBasic skills in math, including; fractions, decimals, margin calculations and basic algebra Ability to handle multiple internal and external demands simultaneouslyUse effective and appropriate written and oral communication skills both internally and externally, including; leading team meetings, providing proactive customer status updates, ensuring the needs of the business are metAdaptable to changing work priorities, and ability to change priorities without prior notification Collaborative approach with others as part of a high-performance teamConfident user in MS Office applications, particularly using Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordConfident user of ERP systems, especially EpicorCRM experience preferable, especially in SalesforceAbility to resolve tense situations with a win-win outcomeWork Environment (office):While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.
