Company DescriptionThis Omaha-based food manufacturer is private equity owned; it has 2 plants, a union, and 500 - 1,000 workers depending on demand.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site, and hands on role. The Human Resources Director will oversee and implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor and employment law. This role will also involve guiding performance management processes, addressing organizational challenges, and supporting a positive workplace culture that aligns with company goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align HR functions with company objectives will also be a key responsibility.QualificationsStrong Human Resources (HR) knowledge and experience managing HR functionsProficiency in developing and implementing HR PoliciesExpertise in facilitating Employee Relations and supporting workforce well-beingExperience with a union is a plusExperience managing Performance Management processes and strategiesSolid understanding of Labor and Employment LawExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsFluency in Spanish and/or French is a plusBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications such as SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferredExperience in food manufacturing, or a similar industry is a plus
