This is what sets us apart from the crowd.Salary: $24- $32/hr DOEResponsibilitiesPerform general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety systemFollowing all written proceduresInterpretation of internal and client requirementsApply an array of testing techniques in a rational and practical style to help examine issues and build solutionsOperating testing equipmentMaintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation.Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipmentReport writing, data interpretation and analysisPerform other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratoryMaintain client confidentiality at all timesSkills / QualificationsMechanical Engineering Degree or experience working within a mechanical testing environment preferredHands-on jobStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong technical knowledgeStrong computer skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performedSelf-motivated with the ability to multitask, organize and work under the pressure of a busy commercial test laboratoryWorking knowledge of laboratory safetyIn-depth understanding of testing conceptsCompany OverviewElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
