Job DescriptionOur client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for a "Facility/Plant Engineer" based out of Pleasanton, CA.Job Duration: Long term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)Must be able to travel to Pleasanton and Santa Clara locations frequently.Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401KSeeking an experienced facility/plant engineer with a strong background in managing and maintaining facility equipment, particularly HVAC systems, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Management Systems (BMS). The ideal candidate will be able to step in as the lead engineer for project upgrades in these areas, driving improvements, overseeing implementation, and ensuring optimal system performance throughout the lifecycle of the projects.Responsibilities:Facility Infrastructure Management - Supports the efficient operation of site facility infrastructure systems (to include all utility systems, HVAC systems etc).Monitors all system status and analyzes to identify trends. Develops maintenance strategies and programs (preventative, corrective, predictive etc) to ensure cost effective and reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems.Facilitates business units' capability to perform their functions.Administrative - Develops and manages capital and expense budgets.Analyzes facilities processes and equipment to identify and implement opportunities to achieve Eco Team and Group Sustainability goals.
