Accounts Payable Manager

Growing consumer products organization, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the day-to-day AP function and help scale processes in a fast-paced environment. This role will oversee accounts payable operations, manage vendor relationships, support month-end close activities, and supervise AP staff while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor maintenance, and expense reporting.Supervise and mentor accounts payable team members, assigning work and monitoring performance.Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.Maintain and strengthen accounts payable procedures and internal controls.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Partner with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to improve workflow and support business growth.Assist with month-end close, accruals, audit support, and reporting related to AP activity.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the AP function.Monitor compliance with sales/use tax, 1099 reporting, and other applicable requirements as needed.Requirements:5+ years of accounts payable experience required. Based on general knowledge.Experience in consumer products, retail, or a similarly fast-moving environment preferred. Based on general knowledge.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus. Based on general knowledge.Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and internal controls. Based on general knowledge.Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel; experience with Microsoft D365, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Workday is helpful.
