Eligible for up to a $7,500 Sign-on Bonus ***Baptist Health is looking for an experienced Surgical Technologist to support our Endoscopy Team at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a Full-time Days position, 40 hours per week. This position requires call and qualifies for competitive call differentials.A surgical technologist in this role, the individual will work as part of the surgical services teams in the Endoscopy unit. The individual will assist the team during procedures, ensure a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, and maintain patient safety. Throughout the day, precision, attention to detail, and teamwork are paramount in providing quality patient care.As a Surgical Technologist for the Endoscopy unit, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative proceduresAnticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordinglyProper disposition of specimens and instrumentsWorks with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safetyCall is required for this position.Experience RequirementsLess than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience RequiredLess than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience RequiredEducation & Credential RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) RequiredHigh School Diploma RequiredThis Surgical Technologist, Endoscopy position will be located at Baptist Medical Center South.
