Materials & Process Engineer
About the role
Using robotics and data processing, Client is reinventing the technology stack of precision casting and factory operations. Clients 3D prints the largest and most complex ceramic parts in the world as casting molds, using in-house developed materials, equipment, and processing.
We are looking for a materials engineer to work on taking this process even further, developing photocurable binder systems, ceramic materials, and processing. The job involves major freedom to explore different approaches and iterate quickly, while working on a very high performing team.

Candidate requirements:
· 2+ years of experience In a material or process R&D role
· Degree in Chemistry or Material Science, or equivalent evidence of extraordinary ability.
· Willing to Relocate to Los Angeles, and work full time in person.
Nice-to-have
· Experience with Investment Casting
· Ceramics Engineering Experience
· Polymer Formulation Background (Specifically acrylates/epoxides, or other photocurable systems)
· Experience with Aerospace Qualification Processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
