Our work environment includes: Food provided Casual work attire Relaxed atmosphere Lively atmosphere High productivity Job Summary: We are seeking 2 skilled and dedicated Prep Cook/food preparer to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of food items in our mobile unit. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our food service operations. Duties: - Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring ingredients - Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation - Prepare food items according to established standards and recipes - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients - Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production - Adhere to all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment - Assist with catering events as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or culinary environment - Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and knife skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices within the food industry Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience and skills - Opportunities for career advancement within the culinary field - Tip sharing If you are passionate about food, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.
