Volunteer Coordinator, Golden Isles Veterans Village

ResponsibilitiesThe Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for developing, cultivating, and sustaining meaningful relationships with community-based organizations to support the mission of the Golden Isles Veterans Village. This role focuses on engaging civic and service organizations, faith-based groups, professional and trade-based associations, and therapy and support organizations to build a strong, mission-aligned volunteer network that enhances services for veterans experiencing homelessness.The Volunteer Coordinator serves as a key ambassador of GIVV within the community, ensuring volunteer efforts are coordinated, effective, trauma-informed, and responsive to the evolving needs of resident veterans. Part-time to full-time, depending on the organization's needs.QualificationsBackground in nonprofit work, community outreach, social services, or volunteer coordination.Familiarity with civic, military, faith-based, or professional organizations in the Golden Isles region.Experience with veteran services, behavioral health, recovery programs, or peer-support models.
