Job OverviewGlobal Concrete Systems is hiring a reliable, experienced Driver to join our team in Springdale, AR. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting machinery, equipment, and supplies between our yard and active job sites across Northwest Arkansas. You'll play a key role in keeping our crews moving and our projects on schedule. If you take pride in dependable work, know your way around heavy equipment, and want to be part of a hardworking team that delivers quality concrete work day in and day out, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesSafely transport machinery, tools, equipment, and supplies between our yard and jobsites throughout the region.Load, secure, and unload equipment using proper rigging and tie-down procedures.Operate company trucks and trailers, including flatbeds and equipment haulers, in accordance with all DOT and safety regulations.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safe operation.Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and crews to ensure equipment arrives where it's needed, when it's needed.Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed.Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, fuel, and vehicle maintenance.Follow all traffic laws, jobsite safety protocols, and company policies at all times.Skills & QualificationsValid driver's license (not expired or suspended) — CDL strongly preferred.Proven experience driving and hauling equipment, ideally in construction, concrete, or a related industry.Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks and towing loaded trailers.Knowledge of mechanics and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs is a big plus.Strong understanding of load securement, weight distribution, and DOT regulations.Clean driving record and a commitment to safety on the road and on the jobsite.Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication skills for coordinating with crews and project leads.What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceSteady, year-round workSupportive team environmentOpportunities for growth within the companyJoin the GCS team and help us keep Northwest Arkansas building.
