RN Med/Surg 3S - Nights

JOB SUMMARYThe Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays and other diagnostic test. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician. All Float pool candidates should be Critical Care RNs with Progressive Care / Stepdown experience All positions require every other weekend All RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs As part of the float pool the expectation will be to go to 3N (progressive Care), 3S (neuro med/surg), 5S (Orthopedic med/surg), ICU for boarding (progressive care or MS patients) and the ER for boarding admissions.
