Wire Harness AssemblerThe Wire Harness Assembler builds wire harnesses used in electronic and electrical systems by assembling, routing, and securing wires and cables according to detailed instructions. This role involves working in a clean manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools, following on-screen work instructions, and meeting production and quality expectations while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesAssemble and bind wires and cables to form wire harnesses for electronic and electrical systems and equipment.Read and follow step-by-step assembly procedures from a computer screen and work instructions.Tie and secure wires according to specifications using cable ties, cable lacing, electrical conduit, and sleeves.Follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times.Wear required personal protective clothing and equipment while performing all tasks.Learn and apply basic drawing and schematic reading skills to support accurate assembly.Operate a computer to access work instructions, production information, and documentation in English.Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and wiring tasks.Perform wiring and crimping tasks as needed to complete harness assemblies.Meet daily and weekly production expectations while maintaining quality standards.Essential SkillsManufacturing experience in a production or assembly environment.Assembly experience with a focus on mechanical or electrical components.Electrical helper experience or a strong mechanical skill set.Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.Ability to follow detailed work instructions from a computer screen in English.Basic computer skills, including use of a touch screen interface.Ability to learn how to read drawings and electrical schematics.Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and company standards.Strong punctuality and reliable attendance.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
