Lead Access Control Technician QualificationsFlorida Alarm System Agent License (FASA) - requiredFlorida Burglar Alarm Systems Agent (BASA) license (or equivalent) - preferred, but can (must) be able to obtain after hire5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial security, video surveillance, and access control systemsExperience leading field crews or working in a supervisory capacityStrong knowledge of IP-based camera systems, NVR/DVR platforms, and VMSExperience with access control installation, programming, and administrationUnderstanding of low-voltage wiring and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE)Strong communication skills and client-facing experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office 365Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to pass a background checkPreferred QualificationsExperience with platforms such as Avigilon, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Kisi, Brivo, or similarCertifications such as ESNT, CAT I/II, or manufacturer-specific credentialsExperience supporting government, healthcare, or public safety environmentsFamiliarity with NDAA-compliant systemsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationExperience with video analytics, LPR, or AI-based surveillance
