People & Office Operations Coordinator

Aimé Leon Dore is looking for a People & Office Operations Coordinator to join our team in New York, New York, reporting directly to Human Resources Director. This position will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day execution of People & Culture initiatives at Aimé Leon Dore. This position blends traditional HR administration with office operations, ensuring a seamless employee experience while supporting the broader People team.This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by both people and process. The coordinator will help drive operational excellence across HR programs while contributing to a thoughtful, elevated workplace environment that reflects the ALD brand.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations & HR AdministrationPartner with the HR Manager and IT to support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and elevated employee experienceMaintain accurate employee records and documentation in compliance with company standardsTrack employee data, compliance requirements, and related documentationServe as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, prioritizing and escalating as neededSupport leave of absence tracking (FMLA, disability, etc.)Coordinate and execute internal HR processes in partnership with the HR ManagerRecruiting & CoordinationManage interview scheduling and candidate logistics across all divisionsPartner with hiring managers and recruiters to ensure a thoughtful and efficient candidate experienceMaintain job postings and support ATS coordination (e.g., Greenhouse)Assist with new hire preparation and onboarding logisticsEmployee Experience & CultureSupport employee engagement initiatives and internal programmingAssist in planning company events, team moments, and cultural activationsHelp maintain internal communications and People team messagingContribute to initiatives that reinforce ALD's values: Real, Respect, Community, Craft, Hard WorkOffice OperationsSupport day-to-day office operations, ensuring the space reflects ALD's standards and aestheticManage vendors, supplies, and general office needsPartner with leadership to maintain a welcoming, organized, and elevated workplace environmentSupport workplace logistics tied to the overall employee experienceHelp uphold accountability across the office, ensuring organization, processes, and overall presentation are consistently maintained Qualifications2-4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or office administrationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with a professional and thoughtful approachComfortable handling confidential information with discretionExperience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and ATS platforms is a plusSalary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
