Description:About this RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Medicaid Managed Care Contracting Manager to lead the expansion of Medicaid payer partnerships across our national franchise network in the non-medical home care industry.This is a fully remote, high-impact role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. while partnering with teams and franchise leaders across multiple markets. Youll have the autonomy to manage your day, influence strategy at a national level, and drive meaningful outcomeswithout being tied to a single location.This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, contracting, and executionand who can translate complex Medicaid and HCBS waiver structures into scalable, growth-driven solutions.You will play a key role in driving payer growth, contract execution, and referral development, while serving as a trusted expert to internal teams and franchise partners.What Youll Do:Medicaid & HCBS Market ExpansionEvaluate Medicaid and HCBS waiver opportunities across multiple statesDevelop market entry strategies for franchise territoriesAdvise partners on reimbursement, competition, and viabilityProvider Enrollment & CredentialingLead end-to-end Medicaid enrollment processesManage documentation, submissions, and approval trackingEnsure compliance with state and MCO requirementsMCO Contracting & Payer StrategyIdentify and target Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)Lead outreach, negotiations, and contract executionGuide reimbursement structures and contract termsTrack and manage contracting pipeline performanceReferral & Healthcare Network DevelopmentBuild strategies to engage hospitals, discharge planners, and case managersAlign payer contracts with referral opportunitiesSupport franchise partners in building sustainable referral pipelinesFranchise Partner Support & TrainingServe as the go-to expert on Medicaid, HCBS, and payer processesProvide hands-on guidance during contracting and early growth stagesDevelop playbooks, SOPs, and training resourcesTrack KPIs and communicate insights to leadershipCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Compliance, Payer Relations, and leadership teamsSupport audits, re-credentialing, and contract renewalsContribute to broader healthcare strategy initiatives Requirements: What Were Looking ForRequired Experience5+ years of experience in Medicaid managed care contracting and MCO enrollmentDeep knowledge of HCBS waiver programs and personal care servicesProven success negotiating contracts with MCOsStrong understanding of state Medicaid structures and provider enrollment systemsExperience training or consulting stakeholders on Medicaid processesPreferred AttributesBackground in non-medical home care or personal care servicesStrategic thinking with strong execution abilityAbility to simplify complex regulatory environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple marketsSelf-driven and effective in a remote environmentEmployee Benefits OfferedAmada is committed to supporting the health and well-being of our employees.
