Purchasing AssociateDepartment: OperationsReports to: Director, Supply ChainJob DescriptionMaxLite, Inc is seeking a passionate purchasing associate to join our company in the Supply Chain and Operations department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring the inventory levels and sales trend of each item. You will support and collaborate with the purchasing team who will utilize the data to make purchasing decisions.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage inventory level for lamp&tubes, communicate with Product Manager and Sales Team regarding sales trend and project demandPrepare PO suggestion based on sales trend and forecastUpdate and manage backorder report, communicate with team regarding action items SM100 data maintenance – Vendor name, MOQ, FOB/Standard cost, container quantity information Maintain item master sheetUpdate Utility inventoryRegular meetings with PM and Sales teamWeekly meeting with China team New vendor account creation Perform all other duties as assignedWhat We Look ForAssociate's Degree1-3 years in related field or relevant work experience Excellent organizational and time-management skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft excel softwareExperience with China or other Asian manufacturers desiredWe OfferCompetitive salary and compensation packageGrowth opportunitiesHealth benefits (medical, dental, vision, pet insurance)Company–paid life & disability insurancePaid time off401(k) with company matchAbout MaxLiteMaxLite has been committed to providing energy-efficient lighting products for 25 years.
