The years of experience can be flexible, but they are going to be given real responsibilities.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time position located in Irvine, CA.The Litigation Defense Associate will be responsible for drafting motions, conducting research, preparing for and attending court hearings, depositions, and mediations and trials.We have an active trial calendar, and we are seeking the sharp and energetic attorney who thirsts for the experience they cannot obtain in a big firm.The role will also involve working closely with our public agency clients to provide effective legal services.We would love someone with prior experience working with cities and counties.We are willing to train the right person who shows a particular interest in municipal defense litigation.QualificationsLicensed to Practice Law in CaliforniaRequirementsValid driver’s licenseAccept a background checkCompensation:For a mid-year or junior associate with defense experience (Personal Injury/Worker’s Compensation/Insurance) we would likely offer 150k+ for 1800. The attorneys get a bonus for all hours over 150 per month. For someone senior who could run the defense department (municipal/public entity defense experience) we would be at 210K for 1800 hours, and again they would be bonused for every hour over 150 per month.
