Manager Workforce Planning ProjectsThe Manager Workforce Planning Projects supports workforce deployment staffing activities with a focus on coordinating scheduling, staffing, and operational logistics for special elevated events, ring of fires, and areas with staffing challenges. This role ensures precise deployment of talent by aligning the right teammates to the right events at the right time, guided by business priorities, operational standards, and event-specific requirements. The position partners closely with workforce operations, field operations, and client services to support efficient execution and a positive client experience, and provides detailed post-event recaps to operations and client services.Job Will Remain Open Until FilledResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end workforce planning and scheduling strategy for special events by managing prioritization, staffing allocation, forecasting, optimization, and data accuracy across retailers and event typesOversee staffing deployment decisions to ensure alignment with business priorities, labor standards, teammate availability, skill requirements, and event-specific needs while maintaining event calendars and rostersServe as the operational lead for event staffing readiness by ensuring teams are fully scheduled, trained, equipped, and aligned on expectations, timelines, and real-time updatesCollaborate cross-functionally with field support, operations, human resources, and other partners to resolve escalations, scheduling conflicts, and execution challenges while maintaining smooth event operationsProvide operational insights through reporting and analysis by tracking scheduling progress, capacity risks, staffing gaps, and readiness metrics while driving continuous process improvementManage relationships with workforce planning administrators, field leaders, and teammates by providing guidance, resolving escalations, and ensuring onboarding, training, and compliance readinessServe as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on workforce planning best practices, staffing strategy, and event operational designQualificationsEducation Requirements: Bachelor's degreeExperience Requirements: 46 years experience in relevant fieldTravel requirement: Less than 5% travel expectedSupervisor ResponsibilityDirect Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resourcesIndirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reportsRequired Knowledge and SkillsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent events and deadlinesExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesProficiency with scheduling tools, workforce systems, and office productivity softwareKnowledge of operational standards for events, demonstrations, or special retail activationsExperience supporting field-based operations, retail events, or large-scale workforce deploymentAbility to operate in a matrixed environment and influence outcomes without direct authorityEnvironmental & Physical RequirementsField Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment, which may include working in variable temperatures such as refrigerated areas, freezer sections and deli/bakery areas.
