Job Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inside Sales Supervisor to join our Sales team. The Inside Sales, Supervisor derives his/her authority from the Valex Senior Sales Director and is directly accountable to him/her. The Inside Sales, Supervisor has sufficient authority to exercise the responsibilities and to perform the duties assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES The Inside Sales, Supervisor is responsible for the following: Provide dedicated customer support when required, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded. Supervise day-to-day inside sales team account activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with account contacts at all levels. Coordinate with outside sales account directors/managers to ensure seamless development and implementation of strategic account management plans. Identify and address customer issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Collect and analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Prepare sales reports as requested by outside sales director (s) and or site general manager. DUTIES The duties of the Inside Sales, Supervisor include, but are not limited to the following: Execute inside sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth. Hiring and training responsibility to develop a high performing inside sales team. Manage sales-based data and top line key performance sales metrics. Coach and mentor Inside Sales team to improve sales skills and performance. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Ensure sales team adherence to sales processes and best practices. Represent the Company at customer sites, trade shows, conventions, conferences, etc., as appropriate. Perform such other duties as the Sales Director(s) or site General Manager may delegate. The following criteria are used to evaluate the performance of the Inside Sales Supervisor: Leadership of the inside team including accuracy and clarity of communications. Timely, professional, and accurate service to internal and external customers. Product & ERP knowledge/ability to resolve customer questions. Demonstrated ability to establish close working relationships with internal departments operations, engineering, sales and quality. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in business or 5 years’ experience in customer interfacing role within similar field. Proven track record in sales management with a history of exceeding sales goals. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in ERP, Microsoft Excel / Office programs and sales related software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills.
