The company provides a wide range of rail services including industrial switching, material handling, terminal & transload services, short line operations, railcar staging, train assembly, and related services. Hourly pay for this position will be between $24-26 per hour, based on experience. This role includes operating transloading equipment, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, performing inspections, completing documentation, and supporting rail operations as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load and unload railcars and transfer productsOperate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipmentPerform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairsComplete operational logs and safety documentationFollow all company, customer, and regulatory safety proceduresReport safety concerns and equipment issues promptlySupport switching crews and other site operations as requiredQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredValid Driver’s License requiredMechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skillsAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsComfortable performing physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heightsIndustrial or hazardous materials experience considered an assetMust meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screeningThis position is safety-sensitive and may require overtime, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel based on operational needs.Note: This description is not intended to limit the assignment of work or be construed as a complete list of the many duties to be performed by the incumbent.
