As the Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and compliance by managing essential accounting functions.Responsibilities:Maintain precise records of asset inventory and valuations across multiple entities.Develop and implement effective asset management strategies to optimize resources.Collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.Conduct regular assessments of accounting processes to identify and drive improvements.Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations in asset and financial reporting.Prepare financial statements and management reports for leadership and stakeholders.Support the Director of Finance and Controller in delivering timely, accurate financial data for business decisions.Must-Have Skills:Experience in preparation of financial statements or management reports.Proven ability with fixed asset and property tax reporting.Prior experience with inventory management systems and processes.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and working with databases or associated applications.Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Previous work in agricultural companies or a related industry environment.Nice-to-Have Skills:Background with CPA firms or equivalent accounting organizations.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.Minimum five years of proven accounting experience.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects.
