Position: Site Manager (Remote)Industry: Catholic OrganizationLocation: Richmond, VirginiaThe Site Manager serves as a dynamic leader and mentor, responsible for guiding and supporting a community of volunteers in Richmond, Virginia. This role is central to fostering a faith-based, intentional community while overseeing volunteer development, service placements, and day-to-day program operations.Key Responsibilities:Volunteer Leadership & Program ManagementSupervise and mentor volunteers, ensuring accountability and growthLead weekly team meetings and coordinate program-wide activitiesPlan and facilitate orientation and end-of-year experiencesCommunity Building & FormationFoster a Christ-centered, intentional living communityLead weekly community nights (prayer, meals, reflection)Plan retreats and facilitate ongoing formation and reflection programmingSupport volunteers’ personal, spiritual, and emotional well-beingService Site DevelopmentBuild and manage partnerships with community organizationsIdentify and oversee volunteer placement sitesConduct site visits and evaluate volunteer experiencesProfessional DevelopmentGuide volunteers in career discernment and skill-buildingProvide coaching on workplace readiness and professional expectationsFacilitate regular reflections and one-on-one meetingsOperations & SafetyOversee volunteer housing, transportation, and program logisticsEnsure safety protocols and community engagement with local partnersParticipate in an on-call rotation for volunteer supportRecruitment & OutreachSupport recruitment efforts and represent the program at eventsParticipate in candidate interviews and selection processCommunicationsAssist with storytelling, social media, and volunteer engagement contentSupport blogs, newsletters, and other communications initiativesQualifications Required:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Pastoral Care)5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleExperience working with young adultsStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build relationships across diverse communitiesAlignment with and openness to supporting a Catholic, faith-based missionQualifications Preferred:Master’s DegreeExperience in service programs, ministry, or intentional community livingBackground in healthcare, education, or social servicesPublic speaking, training, or facilitation experience
