Come be a part of MACOM and help advance the next generation of connectivity infrastructure!Laser Process EngineerWe are seeking Senior level Device / Process Integration Engineer to be responsible for the design and manufacture of LASER and Photo-Detector semiconductor devices. The candidate will have an advanced knowledge of semiconductor materials, theory, and fabrication techniques. The candidate will be a leader in the development of new device and process technologies, continuous improvement of existing processes, and sustaining existing device process technologies. The successful candidate will integrate activities from design, thin film deposition, lithography, etching, and device testing.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of new process technologies and fabrication techniquesSupport sustaining/operations for existing productsData analysis (Yield, Parametric Data, Correlation studies)Failure analysis and root cause investigationNew Product introductionEnsure specs, photo masks, etch recipes, MES route accuracyTrouble Shoot and disposition of material.Write and modify procedures and work instructions.Plan and execute DOEsDesign, modeling, mask creationRequired QualificationsBS or Equivalent with 5 yrs experience (PhD with 0-1 years, Masters with 2-3 yrsStrong data analysis skills using statistical software (Excel, MiniTab, Jump)Hands on experience with fabrication equipment and process techniques (Etch, Deposition, Lithography)Strong understanding of device operationAbility to work in a team environment and interact with multiple departmentsFamiliar with Device modeling tools and CAD programs for mask designFamiliar with MES systemsEEO: MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
