Material Handler Forklift Operator

Responsibilities Safely operate various types of forklifts including counter balance lifts and multi-directional lifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments and ensuring proper documentation Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance and safety compliance Collaborate with production supervisors to coordinate materials handling activities and optimize workflow Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to OSHA safety standards and protocols Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting regularly Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to materials handling and equipment operation Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire We are committed to providing a safe working environment where your skills are valued and your growth is supported.
