Howmet Dover Alloy is a world-class supplier of vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical and other high-technology industrial markets.Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Maintenance Repair B to join our Howmet Casting plant in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this position are Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10:30P - 7:00A. Training on Day Shift (M-F 6:30A - 3:00P).New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $33.67; After 12 Months: $36.20Position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift.$2500 Sign on Bonus payable after 90 days of employment (Sign on Bonus for external candidates only)Along with your pay, our company provides you with a comprehensive package of benefits that is competitive with other leading companies. (Per employee handbook).\nReport all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.\nAttend all EH&S training.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nAssists Senior Maintenance or "A" Maintenance Mechanic in maintaining plant mechanical and building equipment.\nInstalls piping and mechanical equipment as directed.\nAble to trouble shoot and repair all routine mechanical failures or malfunctions and acquire some knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nAssists in construction and/or repair of all plant equipment.\nKeeps records as required.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by supervision.\nMaintain all assigned work areas in as clean, orderly and safe condition as circumstances permit.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED\nFrequent lifting, pushing pulling and standing in a manufacturing environment\nRequires the use of a face shield and respirator at times\n\nTOOLS - Lathe, Welder, Miller, Grinders, Small hand tools and safety equipment, Computers, Vacuum leak detector\n\nDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
