Job Title: Administrative Social Worker - LICSW Specialty: Behavioral Health Integration Clinician Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM 40-hour weekly Duration: 6 months Job Description: The Administrative Social Worker - LICSW will serve as a Behavioral Health Integration Clinician, providing essential support to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. This role focuses on conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care for patients in the Behavioral Health unit. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health and social needs. Gather relevant information from patients, families, and other healthcare providers to inform treatment planning. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address the needs of patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and support. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress, utilizing evidence-based techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure safety. Act as a liaison between patients and community resources, ensuring access to necessary services and supports. Facilitate referrals to external agencies and follow up on care progress. Provide education to patients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Offer emotional support and counseling to promote patient engagement and recovery. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other social workers, to deliver comprehensive care to patients. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment approaches. Requirements: Licensure: Must possess a valid, unrestricted LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) license in Massachusetts. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or mental health settings, with a focus on crisis intervention and care coordination. Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families. Knowledge of community resources and referral processes in behavioral health.
