MEP Superintendent II
MEP Superintendent IIMortenson is currently seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent II to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success.ResponsibilitiesProvide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of workDevelop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent servicePlan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project scheduleReview construction documents for completeness and constructabilityReview and understand contract documentsCoordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepanciesParticipate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedulesDevelop a site logistics planManage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipmentCollaborate with project partner superintendentsQualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or 10 years trade experienceMinimum 10 years of construction experience with two of those years having supervisory experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical ContractorMinimum 15 years of construction experienceAbility to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex data center projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksBasic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office skills at an intermediate levelPositive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesActive listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedbackKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended useCurrent driver's licenseAbility to travel 100%A few benefits offered include:Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $130,100 - $195,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR 10%, Washington, D.C. 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
