*Overview* Join our dynamic construction team as an Entry Level Construction Project Engineer and kick-start your career in the thriving construction industry! As an integral part of our project teams, you will support the successful delivery of diverse Tenant Improvement projects by assisting with Job Walks (Site Visits), cost management, and technical documentation. We are committed to fostering growth and providing hands-on experience that will propel your professional journey forward. *Responsibilities* * Gather all necessary project documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project. * Assist in tracking project costs, analyzing data in Excel, and supporting cost management efforts to stay within budget parameters. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services on-site. * Contribute to project documentation by preparing reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and progress updates using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. * Review project plans, specs, and blueprints to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment required for commercial framing projects. * Prepare/Assist in detailed cost estimates (quantitative Take-Offs) and proposals for submission to clients. * Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met. * Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide updates and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle. *Skills* * Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam and Plangrid * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel data analysis capabilities for tracking costs and schedules. * Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately. * Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within fast-paced environments. * General knowledge of construction principles and processes, as well as negotiated/hard bids and GMP processes preferred. * Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail required Note: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is not required but preferred.
